My Background
My coaching and teaching come from formal training, time as a teacher and SENCO, establishing businesses, and everyday life experience.
I hold a Bachelor of Education (Hons), an MA in Dance Studies (Dance Anthropology), and a postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs. I’m also a qualified Workplace Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher Training and Certified DISC Practitioner.
Before becoming a life coach, I spent many years working in education as a qualified teacher, nursery school manager and SEN specialist, supporting individuals and families through stress, anxiety, and significant life transitions. That experience taught me how to truly listen, how to hold steady space when things feel overwhelming, and how to break complex challenges down into manageable, practical steps.
I have also built and established new businesses including a successful dance company and an eco-shopping bag enterprise. This experience deepened my understanding of resilience, decision-making, and what it really takes to move from idea to action.
My approach has also been shaped by lived experience, navigating grief, work-life balance, parenthood, and the everyday challenges that life brings.
My coaching style is grounded, practical, compassionate, and focused on helping you move forward in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
Why I created Mindful Life Coaching
I created Mindful Life Coaching to bring together my deep passion for coaching, meditation, breathwork, and neuroscience-informed practice.
Meditation first came into my life while I was supporting a close friend through addiction. I also witnessed how it supported people through illness, parenthood and in the workplace. In my own life became an anchor for me through grief and times of extreme stress.
Over time, I saw something clearly. When we calm the nervous system, enhance our awareness, and gently examine our beliefs and what is holding us back, sustainable change happens from the inside out.
My Approach
My work combines:
The GROW model of life coaching
Values and belief exploration
Practical, realistic action steps
Mindful based practices where appropriate and agreed
DISC profiling
Sessions are calm, structured, and tailored to you.
Whether you’re seeking life coaching in Richmond or online support across the UK, my aim is the same, to create a space where you can pause, reflect, and begin moving forward safely.
